Once the relationship is over, there's no turning back.

In one way or another, we are constantly starting and leaving relationships. However, it seems to be a different case for a love relationship. This could be because of the huge investment of heart and soul into the relationship.
When you have given your best efforts into nurturing a relationship, it seems like the world comes to an end when the person you care about the most tell you that the relationship should come to an end. Once the relationship is over, there's no turning back.
So, in order to move on in your life, you just have to accept the fact. No matter how much we want to move on with our lives, the pain hurts so bad as if your heart was really broken into two.
To mend your broken heart, here are 3 things you can do about it:
1. Being Healthy
By being healthy, your body will be able to produce a higher level of serotonin. Serotonin is the hormone that is responsible for making us happy. When you lack this hormone, you will feel depressed, tired and even have low self esteem.
Whenever you feel like the breakup will put you into depression mode, go out to the nearest park and take a jog. The simplest exercise will be beneficial to you. It will keep you healthy and you won't feel so broken-hearted.
2. Stop Feeling Depressed
Get enough sleep every night so that your melatonin levels don't go down. Melatonin is also another type of hormone that is responsible for keeping us happy, it is only produced at night though. It might be hard to go to sleep when you are depressed, but just lie down when it's bedtime so that your body can relax.
Relaxing is a great way to slowly induce yourself into a sleep. If you close your eyes as well, your brain will be programmed to make you sleep. Once you have high levels of melatonin, you will feel happier and have a mended heart.
3. Jot Down your Thoughts
If you can't accept the fact that the breakup has truly happened, you will have tons of questions going through your mind. You will keep asking questions that can't be answered. It's ok to feel like this, but the best way to make it work in your favor is by jotting it down on paper. This works the same as if you are getting your problems off your chest to someone.
In conclusion, it takes time to mend a broken heart. So, don't rush it if you still feel heart broken. Use the tips above and help yourself move on with life.
